You can do the same thing to make a smaller than one page clip, too. I do this all the time to make small PDF clips to include in Keynote presentations and LaTeX-generated documents.

Thank you for this hint. I've been trying to do this for quite a while and just assumed I couldn't do it for free (maybe this was added in 10.3 or 10.4?). No need for clever workarounds. See wsdr's comment above. This functionality has existed for a very long time (I believe).
And how about combine a 2 A4 pages PDF into one continous PDF. without page breaks. Is it possible?
Myriad 4 2 1 – audio batch processor maker. I want to add some mails as PDF toYojimbo but some of the mails are saved as 3/4 pages PDF, and I would like to have them in one long PDF.
All you have to do is open the pdf in preview, apple + c copies the page that you are on, apple + n., apple + v and you have the single page pdf.
Also..
Open adobe illustrator after copying to the clipboard, create a new doc and apple+ v, you will have an editable version of the pdf [if it is not password protected].
use coloursync to get past the password.. https://look-torrent.mystrikingly.com/blog/copyless-1-8-7.
But what I want, and I don't know if it's possible. Mac os x 10 6 8 dmg. Is to have a two page PDF combined in one 'longer' continnuous PDF.
While this didn't work in earlier versions of the OS, just hit Print, choose page 4 to 4, or any range you want and Save to PDF.
